Okay, this might sound crazy, but it’s true. The new stress buster for overworked men in Japan are bras. No, it’s not some kinky fetish. Men and even teenage boys in Japan are happily sporting a specially designed men’s bra that is meant to counter any inappropriate chest growth due to hormonal imbalance, and relieve stress.

Called the Bra-O, this design has been developed by a Japanese firm called Wishroom. Costing Rs 1,600, the bra is also meant to provide a calming effect and revive your energy.

As the bra becomes a talking point around the world, we asked Delhi boys if they would ever consider wearing one. Deependra Kumar, 24, a cinematographer, said, “What? Are you mad? Even if I have a health problem, I would rather go to a doc and try to get rid of it. Only if it doesn’t work, then I have no issues trying it. No one’s going to peep inside my shirt, right?” Abhinav Gupta, 26, a chartered accountant, says, “I would be out of my senses to even think about it.” Mohit Arora, an engineer, says, “It would be a public embarrassment if anyone comes to know about it. But, for my health, maybe I would wear one. If people find out a guy is wearing a bra, they will make fun of him... so will I.”
