"Shiv Sainiks have been hurt by the desecration of the bust of late Meenatai Thackeray and expressed their emotions in various incidents spontaneously today," Uddhav said in a statement to the Sena mouthpiece `Saamna'.

"People should not be inconvenienced and normal activities should be allowed to go on," he said according to sources in `Saamna'.
