The new admission policy of the university, under which no pre-admission forms will be issued either by the university or colleges, has forced Kirori Mal College (KMC) to do away with the production of its college prospectus. The college, one of the most popular in the North Campus, sold about 8,000 forms last year, according to the principal.

“There is no reason to print the prospectus this year. Since pre-admission forms have been done away with, students will not want to buy forms,” said Bhim Sen Singh, principal, KMC.

Last year the college prospectus was priced at R70. The college will, however, set up a help desk in college by next month.

“Students can address their queries to this help desk. They can also access our website, kmcollege.ac.in, to get any other information,” Singh added.

Other colleges, meanwhile, are going ahead with their prospectuses. “We are certainly coming out with the prospectus in the coming few days,” said Pratibha Jolly, principal, Miranda House.

Other colleges like Hindu College, Shri Ram College of Commerce and Ramjas College are also coming out with the prospectus.
