No surprises in ICSE results

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations declared the Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) results on Wednesday afternoon. As usual, the girls have again beaten boys in the school examinations.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) results on Wednesday afternoon. As usual, the girls have again beaten boys in the school examinations.

The results of the Class XII examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education will be declared on May 23 at 8 am. “The girls have once again done better than boys.

In Class X, 96.93 per cent girls passed the exams, while boys were marginally behind at 95.29 per cent. In Class XII, the girls were ahead with 95.96 per cent. The boys recorded a pass percentage of 91.64 per cent.

The Council’s foreign schools seemed to have stolen the march with 98.78 per cent and 100 per cent results in classes X and XII, respectively. Schools of the western region are leading nationally in the Class X results with a pass percentage of 98.59 per cent.
