Superintendent of Meghalaya's Bholaganj Land Customs station J Das went missing on February 13 and since then there was news about him.

The BSF and BDR held a flag meeting at Bholaganj in which the BDR assured all help including alerting all its formations to locate the officer, sources at the Customs regional headquarters here said.

The Chief Commissioner of Customs on Thursday wrote a letter to Director General of Police, Meghalaya, asking him to speed up the investigation on the FIR lodged by Das' family and provide the department some information, the sources said adding "there is no development, no information on Das. We are expecting some calls."

The incident happened in the backdrop of arrest of three Foresters of the state by the BDR in December. They were later released after intervention from the highest level.
