According to Radio Nepal Friday, Maoist leader Dev Gurung, speaking at a face-to-face programme organised by the Media Group Nepal here on Thursday, said the question of any unilateral dissolution of the "People's Army" and surrender of their arms did not arise as long as the Nepal Army remained armed.

He was quoted by the radio as saying that both the "armies" would exist side by side.

He expressed the determination to take forward the peace process and holding the election to the Constituent Assembly by constituting an interim government.
