Pop legend Eric Clapton reportedly earned $7 million last year without recording a single song or taking a tour.

His bank balance increased by $2.5 from the royalties and sales from his bulging back catalogue.

But it seem that fortune is all set to favour Clapton, for the above mentioned figures excludes the cash he made from reuniting with his Cream band mates in summer of 2005.
According to Contactmusic, a note sent to his accounting firm Marshbrook said, "The group has had a satisfactory year."
Clapton’s fortune is expected to bulge even further when his new album ‘Back Home’ releases this year, along with his upcoming world tour.
