The Noida police are overloaded with the missing complaints. In the last three days, they have registered 312 missing complaints. Since December 29, when the skeletal remains were found in a drain near house number D-5, owned by Moninder Singh Pandher, the spot has attracted parents of missing children from all over Delhi and neighbouring areas.
The parents have been making a beeline to the missing persons registration camp at Nithari. "On Wednesday 27 complaints came. Of these 13 were from Delhi, 5 from Ghaziabad, 3 from Noida and rest from Haryana," said SK Singh, the duty officer at camp.
He further added that since Sunday when the camp was set up 312 persons have registered their complaints. "We have made sure that all the parents who are looking for their children, get a proper forum for redressal of their complaints, for which we established this camp," said SSP, RKS Rathore.
Meanwhile, at Nithari it is not just the parents who are looking for their children. An eight-year-old boy mentally challenged boy is searching for his parents. The boy was found roaming near the Sai Temple at Noida about a month ago.
"Though the police wanted to send the boy to juvenile home at Meerut, on my order they kept him with a NGO in Noida, so that his parents can be easily tracked. We advertised through newspapers and public announcements in Noida sectors," said the City Magistrate Shaumaya Gupta.

{{/usCountry}}On Tuesday someone came in search of him at Nithari. The police informed them about the eight-year-old ‘missing boy’ and asked them to go to the city magistrate’s office. The persons however did not turn up till late Wednesday evening at the City Magistrate’s office. "I sincerely hope that boy may be united with his family. We are trying our level best to search his parents," added Gupta.
