Shillong, dubbed India’s rock capital, is set to host an international concert on October 3. The do by all-star band Lost Angels is billed as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
Lost Angels – it features John Corabi of Motley Crue fame, Troy Patrick Farrell of Whitelion, Eric Dover of Jellyfish, Slash’s Snakepit and Alice Cooper and Muddy Stardust of Gilby Clarke and LA Guns – will also be performing at Dimapur in Nagaland on September 29.
“The band will be performing numbers from the respective bands each member had been or is associated with and will also perform some special numbers of Michael Jackson,” said Andrew Ropmay, chairman of event firm Mad Dog Xclusive.
“This is the debut show for Lost Angels. Splitz, a local rock band will be doing a supportive act in the concert. The tickets for both concerts will be available at the venue and selected outlets,” said the firm’s director Saidul Khan.
Corabi is a heavy metal singer and guitarist who has worked with such bands as Angora, The Scream, Mötley Crüe and Union. Farrell, on the other hand, has been with Whitelion as a drummer from 2005.

{{/usCountry}}Dover is an American musician, guitarist and singer, with Jellyfish, Slash's Snakepit, and Alice Cooper. He shared the stage with Kim Boyce and was in the group The Extras with drummer Scott Collier in the mid-1980s. Muddy Stardust has been touring with Gilby Clarke and is associated with a number of Indie projects.
