Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday said he has not made retirement plans as yet, after he announced that he will step down following the next Lok Sabha election.

Asked if he would play an active role in the party after his tenure ends, Manmohan Singh said: "I haven't thought through..."

"It is too early. I still have five months to complete my present tenure. When I reach that stage I will cross that bridge," he said.
