Your attention is drawn to the Government of India’s decisions wherein it was clarified that the Government has always held the activities of the Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh to be of such nature that participation in them by government servant who is a member of or is otherwise associated with the aforesaid organizations or with their activities, is liable to disciplinary action,’ the notice says. `In the current situation in the country, the need to ensure secular outlook on the part of government servants is all the more important’, the notice also says, adding `the need to eradicate communal feelings and communal bias cannot be over-emphasized.’

Sar Sanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, KC Sudarshan, who was here in Varanasi on Friday, denied commenting over the issuance of show-cause notices to some teachers by BHU. `Those who have been served notice are capable enough to reply it’, he said. The show cause notice issued by registrar refers to a newspaper report, which carried participation of some BHU employees in a function reportedly organized by RSS on November 11 this month.
