Five years back Sunil thought about a cycle that could sail on water. After several trials and errors he developed the innovative design of ‘water cycle’.

“My aim behind developing this cycle is to give a machine that can help people in maintaining fitness besides promoting tourism”, said Sunil. He recently organised a successful show of his cycle at a lake in Alleppy, Kerala. When asked about the usefulness of the cycle, he said that this machine is useful for maintaining fitness. “Everyone cycles during the school days.

Regarding the promotion of tourism through this cycle he said that an overwhelming response was expected and the machine was likely to attract large numbers of tourists. “As the machine is pollution free it has a huge potential to attract tourists”, he opined.

Sunil, who has already spent Rs 8 to 10 lakh in developing the cycle, lamented that he did not get the desired support from any organization at any level. “I have a non mechanical background. Still I successfully designed this machine.

If government comes forward in helping me in developing more such machines, it would be a boost for tourism”, claimed Sunil. He constructed the machine without any outside financial support. According to him the machine costs around Rs 25,000.
