“I was in Paris when I met some people who offered me this experience, it was exciting so I thought why not,” says Arora. The designer worked with the chefs of the Parisian patisserie Cafe de la Paix for a few days before he designed his pastry — called the Best of Five.

“Working in a patisserie was a different experience. I worked under the guidance of chefs, but I chose my own flavours, most of them my favourites,” he adds. Priced at 16 euros (approx Rs 1,040 ), the pastry has five layers. “The base is almond sponge and ingredients like vanilla, apple, white and red chocolate along with dollops of mango mousse, form the predominant flavours,” he says.
