NSUI, ABVP make counter claims

THE NSUI and the ABVP both claimed that they won majority of the seats in most of the colleges across State. While the claim of NSUI was win in 80 per cent of seats across the State, ABVP claimed win on 90 per cent seats.

THE NSUI and the ABVP both claimed that they won majority of the seats in most of the colleges across State. While the claim of NSUI was win in 80 per cent of seats across the State, ABVP claimed win on 90 per cent seats.

NSUI claimed routing of ABVP in many districts including those represented by senior leaders of BJP including CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The organisation said that candidates supported by NSUI won overwhelmingly at capital Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Ujjain, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore, Balaghat, Seoni, Betul, Hoshangabad, Narsinghpur, Dewas, Sheopur, Datia, Morena, Anuppur, Harda, Satna, Sidhi, Chhatarpur and Panna.

NSUI State president Hemant Wagadre gave the credit of the success to the efforts of the workers of organisation. State spokesman Syed Jafar

said that the statistics of winning candidates are being compiled and would be soon made available to media. Meanwhile, the ABVP also claimed wins at Mandsaur, Raisen, Dhar, Ratlam, Betul, Jhabua, Badwani, Vidisha, Shivpuri, Ashok Nagar, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Harda, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur and Katni. State office secretary of ABVP Ajay Mishra said that in the City the organisation won most of seats in 18 out of 26 colleges – winning 18 posts of presidents, 17 vice-presidents, 18 secretaries and 17 joint secretaries.
