At a meeting of NSUI activists here on Saturday, it was decided that the groups formed to resist the activists of Bajrang Dal, who have decided to oppose Valentine’s Day celebration, would assemble at Roshanpura Square with bouquets in their hands and oppose activities of anti-Valentine’s Day groups in a Gandhian manner.

The NSUI has also instituted a helpline for the Day. If called on cell number 9229414294, NSUI workers will immediately reach the spot of the incident to help the couple concerned.

In a statement here, State NSUI general secretary Monu Saxena said 12 squads would be active from the morning. He said while their approach would be peaceful, a tit-for-tat attitude would be adopted if peaceful means failed, he warned. State NSUI secretary Atul Sharma has been given the charge of these squads.
