OBC raises Rs 500 cr through bonds

Oriental Bank of Commerce raised Rs 500 crores capital through private placement of bonds.

City-based Oriental Bank of Commerce on Tuesday raised Rs 500 crores capital through private placement of bonds.

The amount includes the Green shoe option of Rs 250 crores as per the structure of the issue, the bank said in a release.

The issue was well received by the investors including retail investors and the issue was subscribed fully on the first day itself.

Therefore, the bank has closed the issue on Tuesday prior to the date of closure fixed for April 17.
