Oh wow, Steve!

“Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow.” These could be words of wonderment and ecstatic expression of delight. Steve’s sister, Mona Simson, a novelist, says there was a kind of a great sense of fulfillment on Steve’s face as he was in his last moments. He was perhaps in the know of a world that made him wonder and be in bliss. Taking a cue from this, Mona guesses there is definitely something more “up there” than meets the eye. Indeed, Steve’s face, for once, was as cool, composed and radiant as an ‘apple’.

So, that makes one rethink and reopen one’s closed chapter of the inner recesses of one’s mind. What was it that Steve could feel and see? Were the last words he uttered his way of welcoming the “other world”?

What was it that made him feel out of this world and be in bliss?

And only the one on the death-bed perhaps gets to know what kind of world one is set out for. Actually, Steve, even in life, had a firm belief that there was another world awaiting us all.

He had told so not only to his biographer Walter Isaacson, but at gatherings he got to address at several occasions. So, “Oh wow…” could be either an affirmation of that belief or an expression of thanks of a genius to all those who made it possible for him, in life, live a life in his own way.
