Omar announces ex-gratia relief for accident victims

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today announced ex-gratia relief of Rs one lakh to the kin of each of the deceased who killed in a road accident in Baramulla yesterday.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today announced ex-gratia relief of Rs one lakh to the kin of each of the deceased who killed in a road accident in Baramulla yesterday.

Omar also announced relief of Rs 10,000 for each of the injured in the accident, an official spokesman said here.

The Chief Minister, while expressing grief over the accident, conveyed his solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured, the spokesman said.

Three persons had died and seven others injured yesterday when their cab fell into a deep gorge in Baramulla district on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road.
