A youth was on Friday arrested for allegedly making a hoax call to blow up a passenger train at Gohana railway station and local bus stand last week, police said.

Mithun, a resident of Sultanpur village, was arrested for making the call on October 11 which created panic in the town, they said.
The youth, claiming to be a commander of Jaish-a-Mohammad, called up Gohana fire station. Fireman Vijay Kumar, who attended the call, informed the GRP Ambala, Gohana DSP, Ram Niwas and CID unit.
On receiving information, the police carried out extensive searches at the railway station and the bus stand.
