One person was killed and 11 others were injured when a tempo and a mini truck collided in Ballia on Tuesday, police said.
The accident took place near Chaubepur village killing the tempo driver on the spot, SP Virendra Kumar Shekhar said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital where the condition of three of them was stated to be serious, he said.
