The session, that was attended by the mayor and deputy mayor, started on Monday and will end on Friday.

No session was held on Tuesday due to Teej festival.

Not only did several councillors skip the training, the ones who came also reached the venue more than an hour late on Monday.

The session was addressed by Mahavir Parsad, an IAS officer from HIPA. Some of the participants included Rama Rani Rathee, Nisha Singh and mayor Vimal Yadav.

The session aims at making the councillors aware of their rights and duties and the way they should put across their concerns in the municipal house.
