Oommen Chandy elected CLP leader

With the election, Chandy is slated to become the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly.

Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was on Wednesday elected leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in the state at a meeting of party legislators held Thiruvananthapuram late this evening.
