Mood elevators
“I stay in the town, away from the studios of Mumbai,” says Raheja, who lives with his parents on the eleventh floor of Mona Apartments. “We have been living here for the past 12 years. We instantly fell in love with this place because of the huge hall. The house emanates positive energy as the closer you are to natural bodies, the more positive are the vibes.

Raheja’s house overlooks the vast expanse of Arabian Sea. “When I’m feeling down and out, I gaze out at the sea from the window and my mood is elevated within minutes,” he says. A special reason why his house is imbued with a warm, cosy and positive ambience, says Raheja. is the fact that “one can get a clear view of both Mahalaxmi Temple and Haji Ali Dargah from my house.”

It does not boast of many artifacts. However, “I have a habit of picking up idols and photographs. Recently, I went to Vaishnodevi Temple and picked up luminous photos of Mataji and Shivji” says Raheja.

My room
My favourite corner is my bedroom because it is at the extreme end of the house. I can listen to loud music and let my TV blare at a very high volume without disturbing anyone. The room has a blue hue, which has been left untouched ever since we moved in. I guess it was painted blue because of the popular notion that blue is for guys and pink for girls.
