OPD opened at Rajgarh hospital

Vice-chairman of the state planning commission Gangu Ram Mussafir inaugurated the outpatient department (OPD) building constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore at Rajgarh hospital on Wednesday.

Vice-chairman of the state planning commission Gangu Ram Mussafir inaugurated the outpatient department (OPD) building constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore at Rajgarh hospital on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said along with the facility of the general ward, some other facilities would also be provided. He said the Congress government was fully committed to provide basic amenities in the state, adding that Rs 200 crore was being spent for providing the basic facilities.

Lashing out at the previous BJP government, he said Rs 50 crore was announced for the development activities of Pajohta area of Rajgarh subdivision, but not a single rupee was released.

Earlier, vice-chairman of the planning commission also distributed sewing machines to 13 women of BPL families and beautician kits.

Chief medical officer Dr Harmohinder Singh and deputy director of elementary education KS Negi were also present.
