"Why should I say we shall do this or that if returned to power. We are certainly coming back to power as we are getting enthusiastic support from people who are coming in large numbers to cast their votes," he said while addressing his first election meeting in Rajasthan in the present Parliamentary elections.

"No one was predicting that BJP would win 120 of the 200 seats in the recent assembly elections in Rajasthan, but many were baffled when the results came out. Similarly opposition would be baffled to see results of parliamentary polls," he said.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Vajpayee said, "our friends in Congress are worried over the results of exit polls, which showed a swing in favour of NDA". Therefore, he said, "they are saying that they have no faith in exit polls."

Calling upon people to take the opportunity of elections in giving his Government another term in office, Vajpayee said, "we want to serve the people and solve their problems sincerely".
