The four party grand alliance comprising of TDP, TRS, CPI and CPM on Friday submitted a memorandum to state governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari listing out the cases of alleged nepotism and corruption of Rajasekhar Reddy.

They charged that the chief minister had abused his office for personal gain for his own kith and kin including his son YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The memorandum said that as per Rajasekhar Reddy`s own declaration submitted in assembly, his entire assets in 2002 were under Rs 50 lakhs.

“From a man of ordinary means in 2002, he accumulated huge properties by floating various benami companies in the name of his son and other family members/associates after becoming chief minister in 2004,” Chandrababu Naidu alleged.

The grand alliance leaders requested the governor to accord permission to prosecute Rajasekhar Reddy and other beneficiaries of his munificence under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and other penal provisions.
