A sessions court will deliver orders on February 24 on an anticipatory bail application filed by the Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswati, who apprehended arrest in the Thirukoshtiyur Madhavan assault case.

Principal sessions Judge P Murugesan reserved his orders on Tuesday after hearing arguments on the application from the seer's counsel KS Dinakaran and Tamil Nadu Public Prosecutor K Duraisamy, who opposed the anticipatory bail.
The case relates to the August 3 attack on a temple priest Thirukoshtiyur Madhavan in the city.
