At the start of this fiscal, the Sports department had decided to regularly organise orientation programme for the newly recruited contract sports teachers. The first programme was organised in Gwalior from April 24 to 30.
In all, 116 contract sports teachers, including 60 contract rural teachers participated in the programme. The teachers have been appointed across the State, including rural areas.
The seven-day programme is being organised to provide basic information on the administrative aspects and develop overall personality.
“As the teachers have been selected from various areas of the State, it was required to give them basic knowledge on personality development and others.
It is a foundation course for these teachers before joining the given task”, said director sports Sanjay Chaudhary. In the second edition, 107 participants registered for the programme.
