Orissa revenue official gunned down

Suspected Maoist guerrillas killed the employee of Orissa revenue department in Malkangiri district.

Suspected Maoist guerrillas killed an employee of the Orissa revenue department in Malkangiri district early on Friday, police said.

The rebels allegedly fired two bullets at 33-year-old Sibananda Jena at Kalimela, some 40 km from Malkangiri. His body was found in front of the office where he worked. Police found some Maoist leaflets at the site.
