Over 2000 pirated VCDs, DVDs seized in Mumbai

A total of 2284 VCDs and DVDs were seized in the raids conducted in the jurisdiction of Khar, DN Nagar, Mahim and NM Joshi Marg police stations.

Social service branch of Mumbai Police on Tuesday seized over 2200 pirated VCDs and DVDs of new Bollywood releases following raids at four places in the city.

A total of 2284 VCDs and DVDs were seized in the raids conducted in the jurisdiction of Khar, DN Nagar, Mahim and NM Joshi Marg police stations, police officials said adding that seven persons have been arrested in this connection.
