Painting contest on environement held

ART OF Living and Vishwas Sports and Cultural Society today held a painting competition on the eve of World Environment Day at Jivan Batika near Boat Club.
A large number of citizens participated in the programme, organised to create awareness about the conservation of lakes.
Society secretary Vishwas Sarang said winners were given prizes and certificates. The citizens took pledge to protect the Upper Lake.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh and Minister for Minorities Welfare Rustam Singh also attended this programme.
