Pakistan has proposed March 27-29 to discuss trade cooperation with India in the third phase of the composite dialogue process, Online news agency reported.
According to sources in the Foreign Office, Pakistan has suggested that talks on trade cooperation be held in Islamabad during March 27-29.
It also proposed that talks on the Siachen issue and the boundary dispute at Sir Creek be held at New Delhi in the first week of May.
Talks for improving people-to-people contacts could be held in June while talks on countering terrorism and human trafficking could be held in Islamabad in July, the sources said.
Later, the foreign secretaries and foreign ministers of the two countries will meet in Islamabad to review progress on all eight issues under the composite dialogue process.
These issues are the Kashmir, confidence-building measures, fighting terrorism and drug trafficking, trade and economic cooperation, promotion of friendly exchanges, demilitarising the Siachen glacier, Wullur barrage/Tulbul navigation project and the border dispute at Sir Creek.
