He has his target set on pop-music but believes firmly in the concept of being a rockstar.

“Anyone who can rock an audience silly is a rockstar,” retorts the man who says attitude is his middle name. Though he brings forth the charm of Urdu and Punjabi in his work, his outlook is very his generation as he dabbles with electronica and hip-hop and oth er forms of popular dance music.

Adeel says that he chose his vocation while he was all of nine. “It’s not easy to convince your parents to take up music in Pakistan, I too had my share of trouble but I knew I had to do this,” says the man who usually likes to compose his own music and do the lyrics too.
