THE STATE Government today constituted a committee to chalk out State public relations policy. The committee, headed by the Principal Secretary (Higher Education) Dr Bhagirath Prasad, has Principal Secretary, (Industries) OP Rawat and Principal Secretary (Home) Satya Prakash as the members.
The Commissioner, Public Relations, Manoj Shrivastava, would be the member secretary of the committee. As per the decision, the committee would provide its suggestions regarding the Public Relations Department activities, methods of functioning and resources. This committee would also suggest according to the changes have come in the field of information and public relations.
In addition, it would also suggest welfare of media people. This committee has also been empowered to seek suggestions from various agencies working in the field of public relations by holding seminars and workshops for policy making.
