Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Pannerselvam will be the leader of the AIADMK legislature party and the leader of the opposition in the State Assembly.
He was elected as the leader at a meeting of newly elected MLAs of the party.

KA Sengottaiyan would be the deputy leader and D Jayakumar, the whip, AIADMK Supremo Jayalalithaa told reporters after the meeting.
