A Coimbatore-bound Paramaount Airways flight with 48 passengers on board returned to its bay just before take off following a technical snag.

Airport sources said the aircraft was on the runway and preparing to take off when the snag was detected.

The flight immediately returned for repairs, they said, adding that the passengers were put on another private airliner.
