The parents of the child have alleged that the principal continued to beat their son till he became unconscious.

According to the parents, Dhiraj (name changed), a class 2 student of Modern National School at Chhalera, had complained about ill-health on Saturday.

The parents alleged that the school authorities ignored the ill child, who later vomited inside the classroom. This infuriated the principal who allegedly beat the minor boy black and blue. The school authorities took him to a nearby hospital after that dropped the child home.

“Later, my son complained of severe pain in his right arm. We got an X-ray done, which revealed that his right arm was fractured,” said Anita, mother of the student.

She claimed that when they reported the matter to the school authorities, no one responded. The principal also refused to talk to them, the mother claimed.

“The student got injured when he was playing during the lunch break. We took him to a hospital and informed his parents about the incident,” said Rina Chauhan, the principal.

Superintendent of police (city) Yogesh Singh said, “We have not received an official complaint about the incident. In case we receive any, the matter will be investigated thoroughly. Both the complainant and the accused will be questioned.”
