Police had to be called in and they escorted the teachers and trustees out of the building and placated the angry parents.

The angry parents charged that even though they had been complaining to principal Nanda Vyas for quite some time, she had been shielding the accused.

The parents also demanded her removal. The trouble started a couple of days ago, on Thursday, when some parents demonstrated at the school demanding action against a bus driver named Ashok Karode, conductor Ram and an ayah named Sarla.

The police were informed and they had arrested Ashok and Ram. It appeared that the matter had ended and the school function on Republic Day was to be held as scheduled.

However, the anger of the parents had not subsided. They announced that they would hold demonstration on Republic day. Around 300 parents gathered at the school gates even as the children were preparing for the Republic Day function inside. As the pressure of the parents increased, they broke open the gates and entered the school premises and there was complete pandemonium.

Meanwhile, the police were called in. At first they did not know what to do and when things started getting out of control they had to resort to mild lathi charge to disperse the marauding parents.

On Saturday morning the Youth Congress staged a dharna at the Pandrinath police station demanding that cases be registered against the directors of the school for not taking action against the errant employees despite repeated complaints. They submitted a memorandum to Collector Vivek Aggrawal, SP Anshuman Yadav in this regard.
