Former Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter claims that his ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton falsely accused him of abusing her.

Former Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter says that his ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton tried to destroy him by falsely accusing him of abusing her.

According to contactmusic.com, Carter was in the news in July 2004 when Hilton showed up at a Hollywood nightclub with bruises on her arm and a swollen lip.

Carter finally agreed to speak about it and said: "I thought the fact that she had money and was famous meant I wouldn't have to worry about somebody using me. I thought that. Wrong. I kind of fell head over heels for this girl. And I probably shouldn't have."
