Sania Mirza showed no sign of rustiness as she marked her return to courts with a straight-set victory over Catalina Castano of Columbia in the first round of the WTA Tour tennis event in Pattaya, Thailand, on Monday.

Fifth seed Sania, who took a break last week after the Australian Open Grand Slam, thrashed Castano 7-6 (1), 6-0 to advance to the second round of the USD 170,000 hard court tournament.
