Patwari held while taking bribe

Haryana state vigilance bureau caught a patwari red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Mangat Ram of Kurukshetra in lieu of mutation of land in the name of his mother.

The accused, identified as Sunil Dutt, is posted at Hathira area of Kurukshetra.

A spokesman of the bureau said that a case had been registered in the context and further investigation was in progress.
