The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied any plans to invite Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to watch the Indo-Pak series, saying the board was not authorised to extend any such invitation.

"If the Pakistan government wants to invite any Indian government official for any match, it has the itinerary and can do it. But we are not authorised to do anything directly," a PCB official told reporters in Lahore on Friday.
"All reports about the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Rawalpindi are speculative. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) can not send an invitation to any Indian government official to come and watch a match on its own. We've to do this through government channels and so far we have no such plans," he added.
