This PCS officer also graduated along with 251 others from IIM-L on Saturday. For two years he was on a sabbatical, having taken leave on the basis of a GO that allowed PCS officers to complete their MBA from an IIM without any loss of pay.

Now sitting pretty with two offers — one from Reliance and other from Price Waterhouse Coopers, Singh is unsure about future plans. “On one side there is money, on the other job security. I am still weighing my options,” Singh said.

Did he actually attend postgraduate programme (PGP) classes at IIM-L for two years? “Oh, yes I did. I joined my duties after my PGP II exams were over on February 18,” he said adding that he found the GO a handy one for those who want to pursue their studies.
