The PDP demanded Omar and his father and Union new and renewable energy minister, Farooq Abdullah and all the NC ministers' resignation.

Syed Muhammad Yusuf, 61, died in police custody after two fellow party workers accused him of taking Rs 1.18 crore for berths in the state ministry and the legislative council.

On Thursday, the three met the CM and state home minister Nasir Aslam Wani.

The three were taken away by the police. Yusuf later died in police custody.

The victim's family accused the NC and the police of foul play.
