As the foundation stone of the popular ‘Appu Ghar’ was laid in the city, a resident group has planned to launch an agitation against the land deal between the authority and the amusement park firm.

According to the Gurgaon Citizens’ Council (GCC), the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) has allowed construction of the recreation facility, despite the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) probing the allegations that the land in Sector 29 was given to a private firm at throw away price. “The irony is that Huda allowed construction despite the enquiry pending with the CVC,” said GCC chief RS Rathee.
