Caught in a time warp, this restaurant is a tad overwrought. Even if you ignore its florid theme – marble jaalis, live ghazals, arched niches – and the menu written by a bad poet, you can’t forgive the food. The Murgh Hathoda is overwhelmingly mediocre; so are the Til Ke Tukde (sesame seed kebabs). Visit it only in an emergency.
