Office employees waste almost three hours of their working day in sundry activities.

According to a research, office employees waste almost three hours of their working day in sundry activities that includes 54 minutes on the net, 18 minutes just gazing out of the window and 14 minutes in the washroom.

A typical office worker also spends 35 minutes nattering and 17 minutes over a cup of tea, a survey by computer giant Microsoft Corporation found.

“With so many distractions in the modern office, it's not surprising our minds wander," The Mirror quoted Lancaster University's Prof Cary Cooper, as saying.

And according to another survey, half of Britons blame long office hours for their inability to maintain fitness.
