The state government has decided to roll out the Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) for its administrative departments, chief secretary PK Choudhery said.

"It (PMES) will enable us to measure performance... why they fail to achieve their set targets," he said.

The system will be implemented by finalising the Results Framework Document (RFD) as an agreement between the Minister and the Administrative Secretary incharge of the department concerned.
