Khajuria said if the yatra was not allowed daily, there would be a heavy rush of pilgrims.
He said even those who had performed puja at the holy shrine had been stopped at Pahalgam and Baltal.

Urging the minister to make arrangements for immediate resumption of the yatra, he said the yatra's suspension had led to heavy rush in Jammu as every day more and more yatris were reaching there from various parts of the country. He also urged Kitchloo to ensure adequate security along the yatra route right from Jammu to the holy cave.

The minister assured Khajuria that the yatra would be resumed on Sunday after the road clearance from the authorities concerned.
