Pilot does a Rahul, spends night at small farmer's house

Taking a cue from Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Sachin Pilot spent the night this weekend at a small farmer's house in Rampura village of the district. The villagers honoured Pilot by offering him a turban.

Taking a cue from Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Sachin Pilot spent the night this weekend at a small farmer's house in Rampura village of the district.

Pilot reached the village at ten in the night and interacted with villagers at a "Gram Chaupal" (village meeting) before retiring to the modest home of Ramkaran Rawat, a small farmer, to spend the night there.

The Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology enquired about the status of various development programmes in the village and asked the villagers to play an active role in their implementation.

The villagers honoured Pilot by offering him a turban.
